Khorasani Member Charged in Oklahoma Plot for Election Day Attack Pleads Guilty

Moore, Oklahoma — Abdullah Haji Zada, an 18-year-old citizen of Afghanistan born in Mazar-e-Sharif, pleaded guilty this week to federal charges connected to a planned terrorist attack in Oklahoma, court records confirm.
Haji Zada, who had been living in Moore, Oklahoma, admitted to knowingly receiving and conspiring to receive a firearm and ammunition intended for use in a terrorist attack planned for Election Day. Prosecutors stated that the plot was tied to extremist ideology, with Haji Zada reportedly identifying as a member of the Khorasani group.
Authorities have not disclosed specific details about the intended target or how far the plan had advanced before being disrupted.
Kauser News Agency reached out to Haji Zada’s uncle in Mazar-e-Sharif for comment, but he declined to speak on the matter.
This case remains under investigation by federal law enforcement agencies.
