After the Taliban took over Afghanistan in 2021, many Afghan women took to the streets in Kabul to protest the regime. Some of these women were arrested or killed by the Taliban, while others were able to flee the country.
However, some Afghan women who claimed to be civil society activists took advantage of the situation and came to the United States. These women posed as activists who the Taliban had persecuted, and they could obtain Evecution and other assistance from the US government.
Once they arrived in the United States, these women began to engage in human trafficking. They lured other Afghan women to the US with promises of Legal Visa jobs and education.
The Kauser News Agency is calling on the US government to investigate these cases of human trafficking and to bring the perpetrators to justice. We also urge the government to provide more assistance to Afghan women seeking asylum in the United States.
The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan has created a humanitarian crisis for women and girls. Many women have been displaced from their homes, denied access to education and employment, and forced to live in fear of violence.
