The journalist, who spoke to the Kauser News asked for the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals and said that the activists are sending money to Afghanistan and to Afghan refugees in Pakistan to make a fake video.
She said that “the videos are being used to spread misinformation about the U.S. State Department and to incite violence against U.S. staff.”

She said: “It is very hard for me to see this,” the journalist said. “As a journalist, I believe in the importance of freedom of speech, But these people are using their money to spread lies and hatred. They are creating problems for us in Kabul.”
37 years old Afghan female journalist, who asked to remain anonymous for safety reasons, said that “while the Taliban has imposed some restrictions on women’s activities, they have not been able to completely silence women’s voices.”
“The Taliban has banned women from working in government and from attending school,” she said. “they have not been able to stop women from using social media. We are still able to share our stories and our perspectives with the world.”
“These women’s rights activists are not interested in helping women,” she said. “They are just using the situation to promote themselves and their agendas.”
The journalist’s allegations have been independently verified; they raise serious concerns about the activities of some women’s rights activists who are outside of Afghanistan.
