Helmand, Afghanistan – In a significant blow to the Taliban, the Afghan Liberation Movement (ALM) conducted three successful operations within a span of 24 hours, eliminating 11 Taliban fighters across Helmand province. The operations targeted Taliban positions in Sangin, Nawzad, and Nawa districts, according to Hamidullah Achakzai, the official spokesperson for Helmand province.
Achakzai, a former K3 member and a relative of the late General Abdul Raziq Achakzai, now serves as the ALM commander for both Helmand and Kandahar provinces. Speaking to Kauser News Agency, he confirmed the success of the operations and provided video evidence of all three strikes, showcasing the precision and effectiveness of ALM’s special operations forces.
“These operations were carefully planned and executed, ensuring zero civilian casualties while neutralizing active threats posed by Taliban militants in the region,” Achakzai stated.
The ALM’s recent actions highlight their growing presence and resistance against Taliban control in southern Afghanistan, with Helmand remaining a key battleground. As tensions rise, sources indicate that further operations are expected in the coming days.
