Update article of September 18, Kauser News Agency
Kauser News Agency attempted to reach out to Ms. Sharif, a case worker from CWS Global, regarding the distressing case of a former Afghan civil society activist now residing in the U.S. Despite our efforts, Ms. Sharif did not respond. Additionally, the woman’s daughter, S.J., and son-in-law, M.J., were contacted, but only M.J. responded—issuing threats via Facebook Messenger.
M.J.’s message to the journalist read: “I have been waiting to hear back from you, but you have not returned my calls or answered my questions. As a result, I will be writing an article about the fake news your agency has published about my mother-in-law. I will also include your communication with CWS, specifically the false introduction where you claimed to be my mother-in-law’s son and made threats against my wife. You even mentioned that you know me, which is completely false. I have never worked with you and did not know you before this communication. Whatever your response may be, I will include it in my article.”
M.J. went further, calling the Kauser News report fabricated, adding, “I have your fabricated article as well. I’m a journalist, so I know how to handle it. Don’t worry.”
During the investigation, Kauser News Agency uncovered several hidden truths that M.J., S.J., and the CWS Global caseworker, Ms. Sharif, are withholding.
