Marim Wafa, an Afghan Female singer, has accused the concert organizer, Hasibullah  Feroz, of taking money from the ticket sales and not setting up a sound system for her concert in Sacramento on Friday, July 21, 2023. Feroz has denied the allegations, saying that he called Wafa and told her that the concert should be canceled because of the *Mahram Sharif*.
Wafa said that she was disappointed and angry when she arrived at the venue and saw that there was no sound system. She said that she had been in contact with Feroz in the days leading up to the concert, and he had assured her that everything would be set up.
According to Ms. Marim Wafa Live Facebook, “It was a nice sunny day in Sacramento & Mariam Wafa along with her band members packed up their Wahwah clothes and drove 2 hours to the venue for a nice ishqi concert. When they drove to the venue for sound check, I suppose the organizer had decided that they don’t need a sound system and that they should sing da HAWA E TAZA with no sound system, setup, or an organizer LOL’’
‘’Hasib Jan e Feroz, whose name will be living rent-free in their heads for the rest of their lives had apparently taken the money from whatever ticket sales they got and dipped without informing these guys at all.’’
‘’I mean, that’s kinda rough as you can tell that they are all so disappointed’’
“I was so excited to perform,” said Wafa. “I had been practicing my songs for weeks. But when I got to the venue, there was nothing. No sound system, no setup, no organizer, and Mr. Haseebullah Feroz was not answering the phones.”
Wafa and her band members were forced to cancel the concert. ‘’They said that they were not able to perform without a sound system, and they did not want to disappoint their fans.’’
“We were really looking forward to performing,” said Wafa. “But we couldn’t do it without a sound system. We didn’t want to give our fans a bad show.”
Haseebullah Feroz, the organizer of the concert, has denied that he took any money from the ticket sales. He said that he called Wafa and told her that the concert should be canceled because of the Islamic Month *Mahram Sharif*. He said that Wafa refused to cancel the concert and that she is now trying to blame him for the lack of a sound system.
