
Kabul, Afghanistan – February 13, 2025
A deadly suicide attack occurred today inside the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing in Kabul, targeting a key government institution under Taliban control. According to Kauser News’ intelligence sources within the Taliban, at least 25 bodies have been transported from the scene, though the exact number of casualties remains unclear.
Deputy Minister Nomani has reportedly been injured in the explosion. The nature of his injuries and his current condition have not been officially confirmed by Taliban authorities.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but Afghanistan has witnessed a rise in bombings targeting government offices and security personnel in recent months. The Islamic State – Khorasan Province (IS-K) has previously conducted attacks against Taliban officials and institutions.
