Sacramento, California — Hundreds of community members gathered at the Imam Azam (RA) Mosque on Sunday to attend the Fātiha and prayer ceremony held in honor of Martyr General Ekramuddin Sari’ and Martyr Commander Amin Almas, who were tragically killed in Iran last week. The event drew a diverse crowd of Afghan-Americans, community leaders, activists, and supporters who came together to pay tribute to the two respected figures.

The ceremony included emotional prayers, Quran recitations, and speeches reflecting on the bravery, leadership, and lifelong service of General Sari’ and Commander Almas. Attendees emphasized their commitment to protecting innocent civilians and standing against extremism, describing them as courageous men who dedicated their lives to justice and security.
