According to the Turkish Coast Guard Command Media report On 21 May 2023 at 09.00 a.m., it was reported that there was a group of irregular migrants on a sailing boat off the coast of Muğla’s Bodrum district. The sailing boat underway detected en route to Italy was intercepted, and 96 irregular migrants onboard as well as 4 persons attempting to leave the country illegally were apprehended by the dispatched TUR CG Boat (TCSG-31).
