A team member of Dr. Zahra Haq Parast’s organization in Kabul has accused her of being involved in the human trafficking of Afghan girls from Kabul to Iran and from Iran to South America.
The source, who spoke to Kauser News Agency on condition of anonymity, said that Dr. Haq Parast has good contacts with the Taliban and that she has lied to the international community about her condition.
“She is using her connections with the Taliban to traffick Afghan girls,” the source said. “She promises the girls’ families that she will get them to safety in Iran, but instead she takes them to South America .”
The source also confirmed that Dr. Farahnaz Heydari is running Dr. Haq Parast’s operation from Iran. Dr. Heydari is a former Afghan government official who is now a fugitive.
Kauser News tried to contact Dr. Haq Parast for comment, but she blocked the Kauser News Agency on WhatsApp and Twitter.
Kauser News Agency contacted the German government for comment on the case, and a spokesperson said that the government is “aware of the allegations and is taking them seriously.”
The spokesperson said that the government will “review the case carefully and will make a statement once the review is complete.”
