Civilian safety remains a concern amid reported armed incidents in Badakhshan. Taliban police said two civilians were injured in an October 7 explosion in Faizabad, according to KabulNow, although the AFF described a different target and casualty toll. Separately, Amu TV reported that some residents fled fighting in Nusay in August. No independently verified province-wide displacement figure attributable to these incidents is available here. KNA urges caution with conflicting accounts and will not present allegations as verified facts. Additional reporting is needed on medical access, displacement and civilian harm.
