SACRAMENTO, California — Kauser News Agency (KNA) is examining allegations of inappropriate solicitation connected to TikTok LIVE gift competitions involving some Afghan-speaking social media users.
According to KNA’s investigative team, approximately seven days of preliminary research have included a review of more than 230 accounts. The agency is examining reports that certain participants offer private online interactions in exchange for virtual gifts or coins, and that some conversations move to other messaging services.
The inquiry concerns reported activity connected to Afghan communities in Europe and North America, as well as Afghanistan and Pakistan. KNA has not independently verified the location or identity of every account involved, and reviewing an account does not imply misconduct by its owner.
The allegations remain under investigation. KNA has not established criminal wrongdoing, human trafficking, or involvement of minors.
To protect privacy and the integrity of its reporting, KNA is withholding names, account handles, ages and private communications. The agency intends to seek comment from TikTok and relevant digital-safety authorities. Its next evidence review is scheduled for November 11, 2026.
The inquiry concerns allegations involving particular online activities and does not characterize the wider Afghan community.
