KabulNow reported an October 4 explosion in Faizabad and an NRF claim that it killed a Taliban intelligence official and two guards. Accounts of the casualties differed. On October 7, Taliban police said two civilians were injured in another explosion, while the AFF claimed it had killed four Taliban members. Neither side’s full account has been independently established. KNA cannot verify the number or identities of those affected.
